Deemed interest in 5,028,231 units in Starhill Global Real Estate Investment Trust ("Starhill Global REIT") held by YTL Pacific Star REIT Management Limited ("YPSRM"), the manager of Starhill Global REIT, arising from the acquisition of an additional 25% equity interest in YTL Pacific Star REIT Management Holdings Pte Ltd ("YPSRMH"), the holding company of YPSRM, by Starhill Global REIT Management Limited ("SGRM"), resulting in YPSRMH becoming a subsidiary of SGRM ("Acquisition").

SGRM, a wholly-owned subsidiary of YTL Cayman Limited which is in turn, wholly-owned by YTL Corporation Berhad ("YTL"), has a 75% interest in YPSRMH upon completion of the Acquisition. YTL is majority owned by Yeoh Tiong Lay & Sons Holdings Sdn Bhd ("YTLS"). Tan Sri Dato' Seri (Dr) Yeoh Tiong Lay owns 20.19% of YTLS.
4. A statement of whether the change in the percentage level is the result of a transaction or a series of transactions: The change in percentage is a result of the above-mentioned Acquisition.

(ii) Tan Sri Dato' Seri (Dr) Yeoh Tiong Lay is deemed to have an interest in the units by virtue of Sections 137A and 137B of the Securities and Futures Act, Chapter 289 read with Section 7 of the Companies Act, Chapter 50 of Singapore.

(iii)In this announcement, references to "shares" and "shareholder" are to be read as references to "units" and "unitholder" respectively.

(iv) Since 18 August 2009, being the date of the last announcement; a total of 5,028,231 units in Starhill Global REIT were issued to YPSRM on 29 October 2009 and 28 January 2010 as partial payment of management fees.
